Discover the joy of spinning clay in our serene and welcoming studio. These sessions maintain a maximum of 4 students per class, ensuring each participant has regular one to one support. Each session is customised to each individuals pace and skill level, allowing you to focus on your own creative journey without any pressure or competition.
In this 6 week throwing workshop tailored for beginners and improvers, we will lead you through the step-by-step process of throwing. Beginners will delve into wedging clay, centering, forming cylinders, and shaping bowls. You will also trim and turn your pieces to form foot rings. Those on an improver course will practice more challenging shapes and perfect their skill. On both courses you'll glaze 6 of your pots during the last week and we'll fire them ready for collection a few weeks after. Additional pots can be bought.

Beginners Booking
PLEASE ENSURE TO SELECT CORRECT DATE ON THE BOOKING CALENDAR AND ADJUST QUANTITY OF PARTICIPANTS ACCORDINGLY. YOU WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY SCHEDULED IN TO ALL SESSIONS WHICH WILL TAKE PLACE AT THE SAME TIME EACH WEEK. HOWEVER, OUR COURSES ARE RUN IN TERM TIME. IF WE HAPPEN TO HAVE A 5 WEEK TERM WE WILL BREAK FOR THE SCHOOL HOLIDAYS AND RESUME AFTER.
Please note: Our friday morning class starting 7th Nov has a break on 12th and will resume for the last session on 19th.
