This day course is designed for complete beginners but anyone with some experience are welcome to join. Through the day you will learn the main pottery techniques which include pinch pots, slab work, coil pot construction and saving the best to last, a go on the pottery wheel! In total you will make 3 pieces of pottery to take home. Although we will be working on structured projects, you are encouraged to explore your creativity and make your piece your own! You’ll have the opportunity to paint one of your pots with coloured slips, while we’ll glaze the remaining two for you. Alternatively, you’re welcome to join one of our weekend painting sessions at a date that suits you to glaze your pieces yourself. These sessions start at £15 per person.
