Pottery taster session - Thursday 11th Feb 6:30pm - 8:45pm
This is a great taster to try a couple of techniques in the craft of pottery.
During this session you will be able to produce one large or 2 small pots using the pinching method. You will also decorate your pinch pots using coloured liquid clay called slip.
You will also be given a demonstration on the potters wheel and have a chance to give it a go yourself.
Both your pinch pots and wheel pot will be bique fired and then a clear glaze applied so your pots will be shiny.
Price includes materials and firings.
If the course has to be cancelled due to another lockdown a credit note will be issued to put towards a future course.
We have reduced our numbers of participants down to 6 but if restrictions are eased we may increase back to our normal group size of 8.
Each table has screens to keep you safe. As an extra precaution we would like everyone to wear a mask during each lesson.
