Studio info

When are you open? Opening times vary, depending on what workshops we have on.If you would like to pop in to check us out, please get in touch and we can arrange a time. Dates and booking of workshops can be found on the website pages. 
 
​What should i expect? Expect the sound of birds singing, ducks quacking, the calming sound of the river and a beautiful setting to learn pottery. The studio is small and so only caters for up to 11 people. Tables are communal. The studio tends to be very calm but can sometimes be noisy during school holidays. 

Is there parking? Yes. There is a free private car park at the end of Trym Road which is found at the bottom of the footpath which leads to the wildlife park. This car park is shared with The Westbury Wildlife Park so it is advised to leave a little earlier in case it is full. Busiest times are during the weekends but evenings will be quiet. Additional parking may be found on the street.

Where about's is the studio in the wildlife park? The studio is now based in the heart of the wildlife park. To enter the park you will need to walk through the cabin at the entrance. Walk down the path and carry on down to the left when the path forks. You will come to two buildings. Turn to the building on the left, enter along the side of the building, over the pond and into a walled garden. Here we are!

What should i wear? Please wear suitable footwear. We are in the heart of the wildlife park so please wear flat footwear you don't mind getting a little dirty.  
We supply aprons during your session (adults only) but please also wear clothing you don't mind getting a little clay on. 

Is the studio accessible for people with mobility needs?  There is a small steep hill which leads to the entrance of the wildlife park. The path inside the park is flat but is slopped. 
Are you wheelchair friendly? Unfortunately due to the nature of our location and the terrain the access to the studio isn't wheel chair friendly at the moment. However the rest of the park is suitable for wheel chair users. 

Do you have a toilet? Yes. The wildlife park has a unisex toilet and an accessible toilet.
